Sebastián Balzola – Founder and President
Electrical Engineering PHD - Doctor . In 1965 he joined Westinghouse Electric Corporation as a design engineer, performing various management functions until he became Director General with more than 2,000 people in his charge, remaining in the position until 1991.In 1991 he founded Soljet Energía, S.A. to represent the Rolls Royce Industrial Group in Spain an also to boost the sale of equipment and services in the Cogeneration and petrochemical Spanish sectors.
Ricardo Balzola – CEO
Naval Engineer and Master's Degree in Logistics Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).He has been working at Soljet since 2007, where he is responsible for commercial management and promotion of new activities.
Prior to Soljet, he worked for 7 years in management consulting for various companies in the USA and Europe including several IBEX 35 companies and some of the world's leading automobile manufacturers.
Julián Suarez-Guanes – Director Business Development
Energy Engineer with a postgraduate degree in leadership and management in Harvard Business School in Boston USA.More than 17 years of experience in commercial development, relations and attention of large clients, search of business, preparation of offers and PQ of multi-million projects of the O & G sector and energy.
Prior to Soljet, he worked in 2002 in the energy division of ENDESA in Palma de Mallorca. He subsequently obtained a position of Foreign Trade Technician of the Community of Madrid (CEIM-CEOE) at the Spanish Embassy in Mexico City. From 2004 to the end of 2013 he works in Tecnicas Reunidas, working in various positions in the proposals and commercial department. During this period, he was based for approximately 5 years in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman). Member of the Soljet business development team since the beginning of 2014.
Eduardo Ruiberriz de Torres – Business Development department
Industrial Engineer with more than 7 years of experience in business development and management for energy and construction multinationals.With a large international experience, he has worked in several countries like Italy, EAU and Ukraine for big contractors, mainly for Abengoa. Acting as site manager in Extra High Voltage projects, taking care of the engineering, procurement and construction areas. Subsequently he has worked as business development manager in the renewable sector.
He is member of Soljet Business Development department from 2019.

Jose Luis González Crespo – Legal Advisor
Abogado del Colegio de Madrid. Licenciado en Derecho por la UCM.Partner since 1993. Responsible of contractual and legal activities.Degree in Law by the Madrid Institue / UCM.
Teresa Bravo – Director of Finance and Administration
Degree in Economic and Business Sciences from the UCM. In 1995 she joined Soljet Energía, S.A. forming part of the Administration team and becoming since 1999 Director of the same.
With wide experience in accounting, management and control of budgets, treasury, billing and personnel management.
Also performs functions of preparation and monitoring of offers and orders related mainly to the Nuclear field.
Gema Barea González – Proposal Engineer
Degree in Mining Engineering by the Politecnica Madrid University. In 2013 she joined Soljet Energía, S.A. forming part of the Proposal team.
Prior to Soljet, she worked for in Siemens Energy Division, taking part of the team in charge of the commissioning and start up Steam Turbines activities for solar projects.
Currently she is the main responsible of the spare parts tenders and orders coordination for the Oil and Gas business area.
